...with your dog.
What you should know —
when your pet comes along.
Many guests want their pet to come — and we want to find a good solution for everyone: for you, your dog, the other guests and our team.
We are not strict, but we are not anything-goes either.
Here you will find out exactly how it works with us.
What matters to us.
We have guests with dogs, and we have guests with allergies or a fear of dogs. We have small children in the house who are still unsure. And even the calmest dog can startle when a door opens suddenly or someone rounds a corner too fast.
That is why a little consideration goes a long way — above all from you as the owner: dog on the lead in the corridor and in the restaurant, an eye on other guests when you pass. Most of our guests with dogs do this as a matter of course.
If a dog is difficult to manage or consistently disturbs others, we address it openly. It rarely happens — almost all dogs staying with us are well behaved and their owners considerate.
We almost always find a good solution.
In the suite.
Pets are welcome in all suites.
We charge 30,00 € per night for your dog or cat — that is all.
Particularly popular with guests who bring a dog:
the Superior Suite Park View. Its own garden terrace with a lawn, direct access to the outside, views of Florentiner Berg. Get up, open the door, step out with the dog — it doesn't get much easier.
When your dog is alone in the suite.
While your dog is in the suite, our housekeeping team will not enter — even if your dog is perfectly calm. Not every member of the team is comfortable around dogs.
And if the door is suddenly open, your dog could run into the corridor where other guests are passing. We want to avoid both.
So that your suite is still reliably cleaned, we need two things from you:
1. Arrange a cleaning time with our team.
Let us know briefly in the morning when you will be out with the dog — on a walk, in town or at the spa. Our housekeeping team cleans during that time. If you are staying longer, we can also agree a fixed time for your entire stay.
2. Use the door hanger — whenever your dog is alone in the suite.
In your suite you will find a door hanger ("dog in the suite" or similar). Please hang it on the outside of your door as soon as you leave the room without your dog. That way our team knows immediately and will not enter — regardless of why someone might pass by.
It may sound like extra effort at first, but after the first day it becomes routine — and your suite is still reliably looked after.
In the restaurant.
We take it case by case. If your dog fits under the table and is relaxed, they are welcome. If it is a full service and there is simply no room for a dog without restricting other guests, we say so honestly.
You know your dog best — and sometimes you can tell in the morning that today is one of those days. Then simply have breakfast in the suite. That is not unusual here.
At breakfast —
daily until 11:00, at weekends and on public holidays until 11:30.
With a dog, we recommend the quieter time slots:
- During the week: early — ideally between 8:00 and 8:30. It is quiet, your dog has their spot, nobody looks twice.
- In summer: outside on the panorama terrace. Plenty of fresh air, plenty of space, no crowding.
- At the weekend, when everyone arrives at once: breakfast in the suite. More comfortable for you, quieter for your dog.
In-suite breakfast: free of room-service charge for guests with a dog.
We normally charge a room-service fee for breakfast in the suite. With a dog, that fee is waived. You pay only for the breakfast itself.
Lunch and dinner —
Wednesday to Sunday, 12:30 to 21:30.
If your dog can sit quietly at the table for a couple of hours, they are welcome. When the restaurant is full, we find a solution together — an earlier table time, for instance, or a table at the side.
We are here for you.
Let us know when you book or on arrival that you are coming with a pet. We keep track of everything and find the best arrangement for your stay together.
