Spa & Wellness
No spa of our own.
Instead, 5,000 m² of thermal water. Right next door.
Aqua Aurelia sits in the heart of Baden-Baden's spa quarter. The Caracalla Therme is reached through our underground passage: bathrobe on, two minutes, 3,000 m² of thermal water. The Friedrichsbad — one of Europe's most striking historic baths — is five minutes on foot.
And for those looking for more than relaxation, the Ärztehaus Vincenti directly opposite has a broad range of medical and wellness services.
You only pay for what you actually use. No surcharges, no flat rates, no obligation.
"The best thing was simply slipping from the room straight into the warmth, in a bathrobe.
That's real luxury." — Guest review, Booking.com
Caracalla Therme —
Your direct access
Two minutes. Bathrobe on, lift down, through our underground passage — and you are standing in thermal water. No weather, no queue, no changing in the lobby.
Inside: 3,000 m² of pools with indoor and outdoor areas, current channel, rock waterfall and sauna area. Outside: lawns in the green, warm pools, steam rising from the water.
Towels, bathrobe and slippers are waiting at our reception. Your tickets too. And afterwards you simply walk back to your suite.
"There is even an underground passage to the newer of the two spas — that is perfect!" — Guest review, Google
Friedrichsbad —
The ritual
Five minutes on foot from the hotel. Since 1877. UNESCO World Heritage.
The Friedrichsbad is not a bath — it is a ritual. 17 stations, Roman-Irish bathing culture, domed halls with hand-painted majolica tiles. You follow the sequence, leave your phone behind and switch off completely for around three hours.
Mark Twain wrote after his visit: "After ten minutes you forget the time, and after twenty minutes the world."
If you find it hard to switch off, this is the best place to do so. And once you walk back to Aqua Aurelia, you won't need to go anywhere else.
"It was like a journey to another time." — Guest review, TripAdvisor
