We are a small, family-run house with 46 suites. In the evening you hear the birds in the garden — and nothing else.
You park once in the underground car park, switch off the engine, and the car stays there until you leave. Old town, Kurpark, thermal spas, Lichtentaler Allee — everything on foot, everything close. You do not need to organise a thing. We have already taken care of that.

Which suite suits the two of you
It depends on the occasion and how long you are staying. A spontaneous weekend calls for something different from a milestone birthday you have had in the diary for months. That is why we show you three directions here — and are happy to help over the phone if you are not sure.
A short break, one or two nights —
the Junior Suite Park View
35 m², compact, well thought-through, with a chaise longue right beside the large window facing the park. Our most-booked suite among returning couples — and that says more than any description.
Couples who know us book it again and again. Because everything you need for a few days together is there. And nothing is too much.
The long weekend, with a balcony —
the Deluxe Suite Park View.
60 m² with a separable living and sleeping area, a daylight bathroom with a window. The balcony looks out over the treetops towards the Caracalla — a glass of wine in the evening, the first coffee in the morning.
If you stay for three days, the difference between "a room" and "two separate areas" makes itself felt by the third morning: you are not on top of each other when you would rather not be.
A special occasion, an anniversary, a milestone birthday —
the Grand Suite Park View.
60 m² in the centre of the building: no window facing the street, only park views, only stillness. The centrepiece is the bathroom — a walk-in circular shower with rain shower, a corner bathtub to linger in.
A room that holds special days well. Our returning couples come back here time and again.
We prefer to talk about the right suite in person.

We are a small house — if you tell us what the occasion is when you book, we will take care of things before you arrive. A bouquet of flowers in the suite, a bottle of Prosecco on ice, a set breakfast table on the morning of the birthday.
Our insider tip:
the walk to Café Lumen
When couples ask us what they should really do in Baden-Baden,
we almost always recommend the same route.
Straight through the old town, then the full length of Lichtentaler Allee.
Old plane trees, plenty of shade, a little gravel underfoot. Villas on the left, the Oos on the right, an ice cream by the wayside in summer. At the end, Kloster Lichtenthal with Café Lumen in the courtyard — the nuns bake the cakes themselves.
Two kilometres each way. Back either on foot or by bus, which runs every ten minutes.
Frau Bender puts it like this: "You walk through the town centre, let your thoughts drift, and then you simply arrive at the monastery café."
Most guests come back and say the same thing: that was all we needed.
