…just for me.
A weekend at my own pace.

A weekend no one comments on. A trip you owe no one an explanation for. Three days without plans, without compromise, without consideration for anyone else. There is room for that here — a quiet house in the centre of Baden-Baden, where being on your own is not a lack, but a deliberate choice.

What you will not find here.

No bar where you feel watched from the side.
No hotel where you are just a room number.

A house with 46 suites — small enough to be personal, quiet enough to hear yourself think, with a team that knows its guests. You are on your own, but not alone. When you need something, someone is there.

"Remarkably good service, especially in the restaurant and at breakfast."

Which suite suits you

It depends on what you plan to do with your time.
These are the three suites solo travellers book most often:

If compact and spontaneous is what you are after —
the Junior Suite Park View

35 m², with a chaise longue right by the large window, looking out towards the Caracalla Therme. Our most-booked suite among returning guests who know exactly what they need. Calm, well thought-through, personal. Everything is there, nothing too much.

>> Junior Suite Park View

If you would like a balcony and more daylight —
the Deluxe Suite Park View.

60 m² with a separable living and sleeping area, a daylight bathroom with window and balcony. Light pours in from the park side into every corner. A view across the treetops towards the Caracalla Therme — a glass of wine in the evening, the first coffee in the morning.

>> Deluxe Suite Park View

If you would like your own piece of garden —
the Superior Suite Park View.

45 to 50 m², on the garden level, with a private terrace and lawn. A piece of garden that belongs to you alone — parasol up, feet in the grass, coffee in the sun. Especially lovely when a dog is travelling with you.

>> Superior Suite Park View

The right suite is something we prefer to talk through in person.
Give us a call — garden level or upper floor, terrace or balcony: we will find the one that fits.

What a weekend here holds.

You do not need to plan anything, look anything up, or organise a thing. Everything a good weekend on your own needs is already here.

If it is a special occasion —
write us a line

Not every solo trip needs an occasion. But sometimes it is precisely the moment to give yourself something. A milestone birthday you are celebrating on your own this year. Or simply: because the time had come.

If you add a line when you book, we will take care of things before you arrive. A bouquet in the suite, a piece of cake, a bottle on ice.

Our insider tip:
the walk to Café Lumen

When our guests ask us what to do in Baden-Baden, we almost always suggest the same route.

Straight through the town centre first, then the full length of the Lichtentaler Allee. Old plane trees, generous shade, a little gravel underfoot. Villas to the left, the Oos to the right, park benches in between. In summer there is ice cream, in autumn the leaves rustle. You walk through town, let your thoughts out, and then you simply arrive at the cloister café.

At the end: Kloster Lichtenthal. In the courtyard sits Café Lumen — the nuns bake the cakes themselves. The fountain splashes quietly. The setting invites reflection — just the right thing when you are out on your own. On some weekends there is a guided tour of the cloister. On others the courtyard is simply there — for you.

Two kilometres each way. Back either on foot or by bus, which runs every ten minutes.

This is the walk where your thoughts are allowed to wander.

We are here for you.

Travelling alone is a decision, not a compromise. Tell us what you have in mind for your weekend — we often have one more idea.
