Aqua Aurelia Suitenhotel
by the Baths

Room to arrive. In the heart of Baden-Baden.

Here you'll find more than a room —
and hosts who take the time for you.

Suites only. Just for you.

No standard rooms, anywhere.
Every suite starts at 35 m² — with its own living area, a large bathroom, and space to breathe.

If you live with room at home, you shouldn't have to give it up on holiday. That's why Rainer Bender designed Aqua Aurelia from the start as a pure Suitenhotel — no compromise, no upgrade needed.

Our house sits in the historic spa quarter, where the Romans built their baths. From here you reach the Caracalla Therme in two minutes, the Friedrichsbad in five, the old town in ten. In the evening it's quiet — no bar, no parties, just the birds in the garden.

Our suites.

Six categories. One thing in common: real space.

Here you don't stay in a room — you stay in a suite. From 35 m², with its own living area, a large bathroom, and a direct passage to the Caracalla Therme in your bathrobe.

Some suites open onto the park and the garden terrace. Others look out over the rooftops of the town. If you want to read in the evening while the other one's already asleep, there's room for that. If you'd rather open the terrace door in the morning and have your coffee outside — that too.

Bathrobe, spa bag, welcome drink and minibar are waiting when you arrive.
Which suite suits you best depends on how you'd like to spend your time with us. Just ask — we'll help you find the right one.

Into thermal water in your bathrobe.
In two minutes.

Bathrobe on, lift down, through the heated passage — and you're inside the Caracalla Therme. No jacket, no bag, whatever the weather.

Tickets are at our reception. With your Kurkarte (the spa tax card we give you), 2 hours become 3.

Five minutes on foot: the Friedrichsbad. Since 1877. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Great Spas of Europe". 17 stations, Roman-Irish bathing culture, domed halls with frescoes.

Mark Twain wrote: "After 10 minutes you forget the time, and after 20 minutes the world."

…for two.

A free weekend that's been in the calendar for months. An anniversary. Or simply: time again, only the two of you.
Here, there's room for that — in a suite with a park view, at breakfast until eleven, in the evening at the restaurant in the house. >> Just the two of you

…with family.

Grandparents who wake early. Teenagers who sleep late. Little ones who want pancakes. Here everyone stays under one roof — in one suite or in suites next to each other. Everyone has their own space, and yet you're together. >> With family

…with your girlfriends.

A weekend that's been promised for months. Each of you has her own corner — and yet you're together, at breakfast, in the spa, in the evening in the old town. >> A girls' weekend

…on your own.

Three days at your own pace, no plans, no compromises. You're on your own, but not alone.
If you need something, someone's there. >> Time for yourself

…and need a hand.

The house is step-free, every floor served by lift, and our team is with you personally — without you having to ask. >> How we help

…with your dog.

Some dogs are already family. They come along because they belong — and because three days alone is too long. With us, dogs are welcome in every suite. >> With your dog

One team. One family.

Our team still remembers which suite you had last time — and whether you like your breakfast early or late. People who start here often stay for years. Many know our regulars by name.

Katharina Bender runs the house. Her parents built it — Rainer and Regina, both architects, down to the last detail. What hasn't changed: a house with 46 suites isn't an anonymous hotel. It's a place where people know their guests.

"Even though it was our first time at the hotel, we felt like long-standing regulars." — Guest review, Google
