You drive straight into the underground car park — let us know in advance and we will reserve the wider bay for you, so getting in and out of the car is easier.

We carry your luggage. If you would rather pull up directly outside the hotel, you can — we will park the car for you. The entrance is step-free, a ramp leads straight inside, and every floor is reached by lift.

Online check-in is an option, not a requirement. If you prefer to do it in person, just let us know — we will take your details at the front desk, calmly, with as much time as you need.

In the suite, we show you personally how everything works: room key card, air conditioning, blinds. If you are unsure later on — one call to the front desk and we come up. If you need a shower chair, we have one ready for you.

Breakfast is served until 11:00, and until 11:30 on weekends and public holidays.

Omelettes made to order, pastries from Confiserie Böckeler, honey from Geroldsau, fruit, and regional produce. In summer, you sit outside on the panorama terrace with a view of the Caracalla Therme and the Neues Schloss.

If managing the buffet with a walking aid is difficult, let us know — have a look at what you would like, and we bring it to your table. That goes without saying here.

Tip: Add breakfast when you book directly and pay the direct-booking rate of 17,50 € instead of 25 € per person.

The Caracalla Therme is right next door. For guests with no mobility restrictions: bathrobe on, lift down, through the underground passage — two minutes.

The underground passage has a flight of steps in its final stretch. For guests using a wheelchair or rollator, there's the short route outside, via the spa's main entrance — step-free and just as close. We'll show you the way in person on your first day. And if you like, we'll let the staff over there know in advance, so they're expecting you.

For wheelchair users, the Caracalla Therme has a pool lift for the large indoor pool — please book it at least two days ahead. We're happy to arrange that for you.

On site you'll find two changing cubicles for wheelchair users — the key is available at the ticket desk — and an accessible washroom with a large shower, grab rails and a shower stool. Two house wheelchairs are available, subject to availability, for getting around the hotel, and the spa car park has several accessible parking spaces with level access to the lifts.

A useful note for companions: if you hold a German severe-disability card with the "B" mark (which certifies that you need an accompanying person), your companion enters free. You'll find the full accessibility details on our Caracalla page.

The Friedrichsbad is a five-minute walk away — a bathhouse with a fixed circuit of 17 stations. The entrance is step-free, though the circuit itself does require you to get in and out of the various pools on your own.

If you're not sure whether it's right for you, ask us — we'll check with the Friedrichsbad beforehand.

Our restaurant is in the building — Wednesday to Sunday, kitchen open from 13:00 to 21:00. A small menu, a quiet setting, views of the Caracalla Therme. Short distances, no need to change, no car required.

If you would like to eat in town: the old town is within walking distance, and we know which restaurants are most comfortably accessible. Tell us what you fancy — we will point you in the right direction.

The Lichtentaler Allee begins five minutes from the hotel — a flat gravel path with benches along the way, shaded in summer.

The Museum Frieder Burda sits along the Allee — changing exhibitions, a good cafeteria. The Casino in the Kurhaus offers guided tours through the historic halls. All within walking distance, all close by.

The front desk is staffed until 22:30, followed by the night porter until 2:00.

For emergencies, there is a night bell with video around the clock — you speak directly with someone. In a small house like ours, you are never on your own, not even at night.
